Twitter und Google Friend Connect

So kann man es auch auszdrücken: @Twitter: Welcome to Google Friend Connect - ab sofort kann man Google Friend Connect auch mit Twitter verknüpfen, was folgendes ermöglicht:

To send a tweet about a site you have joined, click the invite link in the members gadget, then click the Twitter icon on the share tab. The next time your followers sign in to Twitter, they’ll see your tweet containing a link to the interesting site you’ve found.

So richtig rockend find ich das alles noch nicht. Zwar habe ich jetzt mein Google Friend Connect Profil mit meinem Twitter-Profil verknüpft, aber das war es dann auch. Mal sehen, was da noch kommt, so wirkt alles etwas dünn.

Laut Ev Williams wird Twitter auch bald Facebook Connect unterstützen:

For the record: Twitter did not “choose Google, not Facebook.” We’re working with both. We have more to do on the FB side before launch.

Vielleicht kann man dann ja auch irgendwann mehr machen, als nur die Profile miteinander zu verknüpfen, denn mit einem praktischen Nutzen wäre das alles noch viel sinnvoller.
